Description
The following is a brief synopsis of information reported to the Rutgers University Police Department:

The Rutgers University Police Department is currently investigating numerous thefts of G.P.S. (Global Positioning Systems) from automobiles parked in University lots. Between April 18th and July 31st, 2007 there have been 23 reported incidents. During the above time period two arrests were made however thefts are continuing.

In most of these cases a vehicle window is smashed and the property taken.
