Description
The following is a brief synopsis of information reported to the Rutgers University Police Department:
The Rutgers University Police Department is currently investigating an assault which occurred on the Cook Campus on Wednesday July 25, 2007. The incident took place inside the Food Science building at approximately 2:12 PM. The victim reported that the suspect approached and attempted to sell him a painting, which he was carrying in a box. The victim refused to purchase the painting and told the suspect to leave the building. When the suspect refused to do so, the victim informed him that he was going to call the police. The suspect then pushed the victim to the ground and was choking the victim while asking if he was still going to call the police. When the victim said that he would not call the police the suspect released him and ran from the building. The victim was not seriously injured.

White male
early 30s
stocky build
5’8” in height
clean shaven
short brown hair
wearing tan shorts and a dark blue t-shirt (no logo).
The box he had the paintings in is described as a 2 foot square tan box.
